Extra - Broadcast

Akuvox has the option to make a one-way call to several units simultaneously, which is called broadcast. The AK-VPR49G can be used as master monitor for a video door entry system, for example by the property manager.

Enter the web interface of the AK-VPR49G

1. Preference

2. Enable the Broadcast Icon on the display

1. Select Ext Key

2. Type: Multicast Paging

3. Label: Give it a Label of your choice

4. Value: This address should consist of an IP address between 224.0.0.0 – 239.255.255.255, with a port around 20000

1. Select Multicast

2. Choose the Multicast Group

3. Enter the multicast Address (Range: 224.0.0.0 – 239.255.255.255) when the device serves as the caller

4. Enter the Listen Address (Range: 224.0.0.0 – 239.255.255.255) when the device serves as the callee

For the Models AK-X933W, AK-IT88S, AK-C319W the icon "All Calls" first needs to be enabled to show up on the Display. On all the other models, it is enabled by default.
