Web Language for the Web Interface

In Europe, Daylight Saving Time (DST) starts on the last Sunday of March and ends on the last Sunday of October each year. Most European countries set their clocks forward one hour on Sunday, March 26, 2023, when DST begins. Clocks will go forward one hour at 01:00 UTC on that day. The local time for this change varies in each time zone.

Here are the local times for DST start in some European time zones:

  • British Summer Time (BST) (used in the UK during summer): Clocks are set ahead 1 hour from 01:00 to 02:00 local time.
  • Irish Standard Time (IST) (used in Ireland during summer): Clocks are set ahead 1 hour from 01:00 to 02:00 local time.
  • Western European Summer Time (WEST) (used in the Canary Islands, the Faroe Islands, and Portugal): Clocks are set ahead 1 hour from 01:00 to 02:00 local time.
  • Central European Summer Time (CEST) (used in countries including Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Hungary, Norway, Poland, Spain, and Switzerland): Clocks are set ahead 1 hour from 02:00 to 03:00 local time.
  • Eastern European Summer Time (EEST) (used in countries including Bulgaria, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, and Romania): Clocks are set ahead 1 hour from 02:00 to 03:00 local time

With an online installation, there is the option to forward the call to a mobile when the Smart Plus app.

With an offline installation, there is only the option to use the IP address from another monitor.

When using the Akuvox cloud, select account 1 and add the SIP phone number from your mobile app.

When using a public SIP (VoIP) server, select account 2 or 1 whatever needs to be used for that provider. Then it should be possible to use normal phone numbers.

Monitor

Adding a Door station is needed for an off-line installation

Relay

When programming, the relays from the door station work with the indoor stations.

There is the option to add the remote digits from the door station.

A. Monitor.

In the monitor can be added 4 Codes that later can be used in Key settings C.

B. Door phone. Define the DTMF tones that need to be used to open the door. When for security or because the project contains more than 10 public doors to open, select 2 or more digits,

Sample:

There are two doors in the building, one main entrance and a backdoor, both with an Akuvox video intercom.

The main door needs to open with 2 digits (22) and the back door with (21).

First, the door phones need to be set:

  1. Open the config page of the first door phone.
  2. Open the Tab relay in the Intercom menu
  3. Set the DTMF Mode to 2 digits
  4. Enter the two digits (22)
  5. Give the relay a name (this is not mandatory)
  6. Click on submit to save

And the same for the back door.

Define the DTMF tones to use to open the door.

  1. Open the config page of the monitor
  2. Open the tab Relay in the Phone menu
  3. Enter DTMF tone 22 for the main door and 21 for the back door
  4. And Submit to save

Now scroll down to the Key Setting.

  1. Enable the Key to use
  2. Label the key this will be visible on the monitor
  3. Set the DTMF tone that was defined at the top, "the Remote Relay settings"

Again Submit to save
